| you can't backup table in SQL server 2005. If your table is on seperate Filegroup you can backup that FG. If its huge, it will take time to export/import or FG backup. |

| Also to determine how long it takes to do a backup of an existing database you should look at the job log. In other words, you should already be backing it up.An infinite universe is the ultimate cartesian product. |
