Look for SQL Business Intelligence studio icon in Start->Programs Under SQL Server 2005. It will help you to design reports.

Sure, but I don't have this in the Programs list. All I have is SQL Server 2005 Management Studio, Reporting Services config, which is all set up and I have the Reports home page running and connected to the database instance. I don't have the Report Builder or Report Designer in Visual Studio. I thought all the Reporting Services were free. I re-installed the SQL Server_ADV extras download, including RS, a couple of times, thinking maybe it didn't work first time. Nothing's changed.

How can I get the Report Designer?

Thanks

Have you used the link under Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition Toolkit to download?

Installed the Toolkit. Great. All is wonderful.

Now, with a simple report created and successfully built & deployed and viewed on local machine, how do I view this from next-door machine?

Connected through ethernet router, ftp works just fine. Now that Report Manager is publishing OK as http://pba/reports how do I get this other machine to see it?

There are a few firewall exceptions made here, eg. iTunes sharing activated, working OK. First question is should I focus on the settings on the pba machine publishing the reports, or focus on the settings on my Mac to see the machine? Both can ping the other OK, and Mac is offering files the PC can get via ftp and the PC can see shared iTunes library...

Thanks
