Hello.
When I'm useing a report in reportViewer I have a "back button" in the the viewer which let me go back to my parent report after jumping to another report.

I wanted to make a bigger button like that on the report so I tried to simulate it by creating my own textback and use a javascript to go back one page.

This doesn't work since the javascript doesn't work as well as the built in bottun.
Is there a way to simulate this button any way?

Thanks.

what was the expression given for back button? You could try giving this

="javascript:history.go(-1)"

Hi Visakh,
That wont help since its still not like the built in button of the report.
The reason is that the javascript function doesnt always take you back.
If you are playing with opening groups in the report or sorting, then the javascript will sometime just undo the sorting but wont always take you back.
The built in button will always take you back and to the same stage you were in the parent report (sorting and open groups, etc).

Thanks.
