Hi Guys,
I have a question: when I use the Bulk Import command in my proc, it removes all dbl quotes except the 1st and the last dbl quote in each record. Is there a way to solve this problem

BULK INSERT dbo.zGE_RCF_POS_IMPORT FROM 'C:\My_IMPORT.txt'
WITH (FIELDTERMINATOR = '","')

Thanx much,
Trudye

Use a format file to specify exactly how your data looks.

It didn't remove the beginning and end double quotes, since those weren't in between fields. Field terminators are the character(s) in between fields.
