hiin ms sql server 2000 if we enter a value 6.0(float) it is stored as 6.000002 but in sql 2005 it is stored as 6.000000 why??? |

In both SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005 I get plain "6" as result. No decimals at all.declare @f table (f float)insert @f select 6.0select * From @f E 12°55'05.25"N 56°04'39.16" |

Are you taking this value from some field after performing some calculations or casting? We need some background info on when you noticed this discrepancy if at all. |
