 replication stopped please help

Dear Experts,
i've tried to add two new articles to the publisher.i failed there. now i've dropped the articles, but still replication is not working. please let me know what should i do

i've created two tables in publisher first...then i've used sp_addarticle to add the article(i've followed the article from http://www.replicationanswers.com/).

it has taken downtime for 20 min. but i got the below error. replication not working. so that i've dropped the articles.

the error is like this...
the process could not read the file...<path of the file> due to os error 1396...

please let me know what should i do...

Please post the entire error from replication monitor. Do not put ... to signify there is more to the error as we need to see the entire thing.

the exact error is like this...

the process could not read the file '\\emriap_db\replication_test\unc\emriap_db_cti_apps_to_cti_apps_live\20080620031894\voiceconversationtypes_64.pre' due to os error 1396

Did you verify that the path works when copied/pasted into Start..Run?

What account SQL Server agent running on? It should run on domain account for replication.

i've registered the server instance here with admin previleges. here in this system agent is not there

Dear Sodeep and tara, today i've taken the descktop of the server with terminal access so that all the details i can provide to you.....please help me to make the replication to work perfectly.
i'm planning to create this replication from cti_apps which is production server to cti_apps_live which is in the replication server. i dont know exactly with which user the distribution and publisher databases working. i'd like to create this transactional replication in a planned way and i'd like to document that for future reference. so please guide me in this regard
