Dear All,
i dont know the exact reson why, but i'm guessing the reason for each table had a new guid column is because of transactional replication with update subscribers. actually i dont need this.
can i change this to transactional replication? or i need to drop the column in each table? please guide me

Replication will always add a column to the table. This is the way it keeps track of records.

Not true . Extra Guid column will be added only when you do transactional replication with updatable subscription or Queued updating or Merge Replication. This is like trigger which tracks the changes. For one way replication, there is no Guid column being added.

You can drop column for GUID if you are doing two way transactional
replication with updatable subscription.

i'm not doing two way transactional replication. what ever the updations are there in publisher are going to replicate in subscriber. this is only my requirement. now can i drop the column?

You have to reset replication first, otherwise sql doesn't let you drop it.
