| hi all, can someone provide me some idea or code to check the free disk space of mapped network drive.... Or is there any way to get the xp_diskspace system store procedure as i have installed the SQL Server 2000 and not able to c that stored procedure in the Master database....Arfan Gull. | You can't see free space on mapped network drive.For local disk:You can use xp_fixeddrives |

use xp_cmdshell to execute a DIR drive: or DIR \\server\shared the free space will be shown at the last line
