Hello everyone,I have two laptops each with SQL Server 2000 installed, it has to be 2000 as this is integrated into the WinCC application I'm working on. I want to set these instances up to support distributed tansactions. I can add Latop A to the linked server list on Laptop B but I cannot add Laptop A to the linked server list on Laptop B. Also I can run the New Server Registration wizard on Laptop A and register the SQL Server Instance running on Laptop B but again I cannot register Laptop A SQL Server instance on Laptop B. All the passwords are the same for each Windows account and also for the SQL sa login. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thankyou in advance |
