| Dear Experts,i've a very good server as production server and another server as replication server for reports usage. suddenly the performance of the replication server's performace became very slow.may i know what are the immideate steps i need to perform?previously just before 1 day, the query is working for 1 min. but now it is taking around 4 min. around 50,000 rows getting into the table daily.please guide meArnavEven you learn 1%, Learn it with 100% confidence. |

| The query is a proc? Recompile it - see how things go. Update statistics. Check index fragmentation & defragment where necessary. If you do these things and performance remains poor (and *nothing* else has changed) then it is probably time to get some traces and counters. |
