Hi

I am new to sql db administration. When I am trying to connect another server from my server I am getting the following error.

"An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) (.Net SqlClient Data Provider)"

i have already enabled all the services in sql server configuration manager. But I am still unable to connect to the another server.

How can I overcome this.

Please help me.

Thanks

Zakeer Sk
