Is horizontal Vertical and raw partitioning covered in the MCTS exam
or is this a bit to in depth for it. I have read the Microsoft Implementation and Maintenance book and have not come across this type of partitioning

Regards

Rob

It is definitely used in production, most typically on large databases. An example of a system that uses horizontal partitioning is myspace.com.
