| I've been a programmer on and off most of my life. Unfortunately, I'm wired to think in sequential steps. Unfortunately, it causes me issues with TSQL as I need to think in Sets rather than steps. This became obvious to me yet again in this post: http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=108231It's painfully obvious that I "solved" that problem in steps and visahk was thinking sets. Can anyone point me to a good article or two concerning this paradigm shift I must make? |

The first and most obvious answer is "think not in rows, think in columns". E 12°55'05.25"N 56°04'39.16" |
