I am running SQL Server 2000.
I have updated a service pack SQL2000-KB884525-SP4-x86-ENU.EXE in my sql server which is running in Windows Server 2003. After that i have restarted my server. Now when i run
SELECT SERVERPROPERTY('productversion'), SERVERPROPERTY ('productlevel'), SERVERPROPERTY ('edition')

I am getting the following,
8.00.194 RTM Standard Edition

productlevel is not changed.

Did you get any error during applying sp4? Double check sp4 installation log file for more info.
