Hi All,

I'm trying to install security patch KB948110 on my SQL server but having problem with this error:
"One or more SQL instances could not verify your account information".
I have installed the same security patch on other SQL servers but not facing this error. The different
between this SQL server with others is, its is running on cluster environment. During installation, i have tried to install on both node, which the active and passive but the error still the same. This server are running on SQL server 2000 SP4 and in mixed mode authenthication. I have tried to use both which is SQL authentication using sa and windows authentication using admin id's
with sys admin roles but still doesn't work.

Looks like file access issue. Is g:\ a local disk on the server?

What's on g:\ then? Does windows account you used have enough permissiom?

Yes, the windows account that we use have full permission at windows level itself and at SQL level the account has been granted sys admin roles. On G:\, what we have here is the database file like the data file and transaction log.
