| Dear All,i'm configuring mirroring in my test servers. when i'm trying to enable trace flag 1400, the server is stopping. with out trace flag 1400 mirroring will not be configured.i've read in an article that installing service pack1 will reslove this issue. please let me know the steps to follow for enabling the trace flag 1400. or installing sp1 is enough and no need of enabling trace flag???please guide me in this regard.and one more doubt...as the mirrored database is in norecovery mode, it is not possible to take the reports from the database. for this the solution is snapshot. please let me know how to use this feature to generate reports from the mirrored database.thank you very muchArnavEven you learn 1%, Learn it with 100% confidence. |

| You have to apply service pack 1 and above for it.Read about database snapshots in Books online. |
