| I have read the thread on passwords but don't quite follow what is being said. What I actually need to do, if possible, is to password access to each database (just the data files would do) so that the database cannot be used unless the correct password is entered. At the moment, SQLS lets me in if I log on correctly to Windows but I really need the extra security of being able to prevent anyone else from accessing the data without the correct password. Is there a simple way to do this? - I am using SQLS 2005 SP 2.Thanks.Chris |

| Restrict access to database for user and give them what they need. |
