Dear All,
i've created replication long back and that is working fine till 3:30 pm today. suddenly two databases are not synchronixing and rest of 3 are working fine(totally 5 databases in transactional replication).
i'm getting the below error while trying to see the synchronization status..
to synchronize and monitor,a connection must established to the publisher
there are no errors in the replication monitor. but it is saying that there are no initial snapshots to replicate the transactions
please help me...

Did somebody delete snapshot folder? Check your shared folder for snapshot? Also check job history for replications.

sorry for making the confusion.

actually there are five databases in replication. three are push subscription and working fine. two are pull subscription and failed now. the error i'm getting is the the initial snapshot for publication is not yet avialable'.

for a small database i've generated the snapshot again and that is working fine. but the problem is regarding the big database. why this problem came dont know exactly. please help me here

ok sodeep finally i've decided to delete the subscription and i'l create the new snapshot.
just right click and delete?(subscription) or i need to drop the subscriber database and create a new database, and need to initialize with the latest snapshot?

i mean can i take a fresh snapshot and put it on the existing subscriber database?

Donot generate snapshot for Huge databases. It will lock tables. It will take some time .

now the problem is performance...previously 15 sec query now taking 20 min. please let mek now how can i resolve this?

even alt+f1 is taking so much time for a table.
