Dear Experts,
please provide me some good ideas for
1)monitoring the Performance of sql server.
2)how to know that what % of ram is utilizing for which action

please guide me in this regard and please provide me the daily, weekly and monthly check list

Using performance monitor with SQL Profiler will yield good results.
SQL Profiler will give very good granular insight into variou aspects of queries , errors, locks etc . i.e data handling that is taling up memory.

Dear jackV, really i'm sorry to say like this...i know how to use profiler, but i dont know what are the values that is returning and based on that how can i measure.....
is there any standard value template for that to compare? please help me
