I have sql sever 2005 managment studio.
I save the result of qurey to a .csv file.
My question is that the resulting .csv file is in unicode format or ascii format? Do I have option to choose?
Thanks.

By default it is Unicode. When you do a Save As, there's a small drop down, you can click on that and choose which encoding you want and you can choose if you want a comma or tab-delimited file.
