HI

Update CatMapping set Cat = Cast(@numholder as nvarchar(10))+'-'+@inCatName WHERE CatId = @CatID


I am trying to update one column(nvarchar). but getting error "cannot convert datatype varchar to numeric". Please help

Also check for datatype of @CatID variable and CatID column.
