| my application was working fine with sql 2000.recently i upgraded my sql server to 2005 and i am getting the following error "Requested operation requiresan OLE DB Session object, which is not supported by the current provider."any help....thanks, |

| By default SQL 2005 does have TCP/IP disabled along with Named pipesIt is likly your application is trying to use one of these to connect..START>Programs>Microsoft SQL Server 2005 > COnfiguration TOols>Sql Server Configuration Manager.Expand the "SQL Native Client Configuration" and Enable the protocals you will be using to connect. |
