Hi,I need a help to find a component which I use to perform better reporting from our database  .I am using a Microsoft sharepoint CWSS and will be connecting to MS SQL 2005 database which contains all the employess information. I need to perform some advance reporting from sharepoint, which component shall I buy/download to get my work done ?Thanks in advance.  |

| Thanks Vishak,Is there any other reporting tool in the market?As I am using the free version of sharepoint so is there any restriction to connect with MS 2005 SSAS? Also is there any sharepoint reporting component I can buy to use this reporting more extinsively? |

For simple reports you dont need SSAS but you need only SSRS tool in Business Intelligence Development Studio.And if you want use different types of complex graphs in your report you can buy dundas reporting chart control component. |

| When I try to install BIDS using SQLEXPRESS_TOOLKIT, it says its already installed on the PC but I cannot see in the start Menu.. Do I need to configure something else to use this SSRS? |

it comes under microsoft sql server 2005 bundle its called sql server business intelligence development studio. |
