| When running the xp_cmdshell I am getting an error"The network path was not found."This works fine from a query window, but does not work from a SQL Server Agent Job.SQL Server is configured to run as the domain administrator (which has access to the folder it is trying to access).I ran a whoami /all to confirm that the job is actually running as the administrator. This is driving my crazy.Any clues? I've been all over the net looking for answers. Thanks |

| I'm not certain but...I think that if a non-admin account launches the job, then any xp_cmdshell calls will not run as the sql server service account but rather will run under the xp_cmdshell_proxy_account. Even if the job owner is a sysadmin.Be One with the OptimizerTG |
