As you know, this will require login modifications etc. The problem I am seeing is that on our server, using SS Management Studio 2005, I can see the new domain name when searching locations during login creation. However, I cannot see this domain from my laptop using SSMS 2005. What is curious to me is that when I open SQL Server 2000 EM, I can see the new domain, and can also see it when logging onto my laptop. Am I missing a configuration setting on the client or server that would block this in SQL Server 2005 Management Studio?
