Hi Experts,

I would like to draw your attention to help me and figure out the general practises to maintain the cluster servers.

I mean in what perspective manner I should monitor, and what are the things to follow and mainly under the database operations perspective.

This is just the begining for me in Cluster Environment as every thing running perfectly and no issues till now, but as DBA I should be well versed the things to know and to perform.

This would be great help if someone could discuss this practise and perhaps it could be beneficial for many in this forum to acquaint themselves.

I thank one and all participate in this discussion.

1) You should be good in all terms used in Clustering
2) Should be good in Monitoring all perspectives with CLuster Administration.
3)You should create good disaster recovery plan for it.

It is not enough to monitor a cluster through Cluster Administrator. We use MOM to monitor all of our SQL Servers inclusing those on clusters.
