| I have windows vista Home premium (32 bit) service pack 1 in my laptop. will this support to download and work with sql server 2005 trail version from Microsoft site. If not what are the other options for this?Thanks.. |

Only Express Edition and Developer Edition will install in Vista Home Edition.Make sure you also install SP2.

| Good luck on installing sqlserver 2005 on vista. Vista also has problem uninstalling sql server 2005....I suggest you to also get a virtual server trail with 2003 on it. Install sql server 2005 on it. Much cleaner. |

Developer Edition has everything Enterprise has, and cost about $50 to buy. No need to install evaluation version.
