I'm finally a Yak. Oh how I've dreamed of this day. I now consider my life complete. On a more serious note, this has to be one of the greatest SQL Server Sites out there. Everyone seems to get the help they need in a very very timely matter. Tis a rare site where one has the opportunity to learn as much as they are able to help. I have learned a lot, and I offer what I can. With the wealth of knowledge visiting this site on a daily basis, it's almost a race to answer questions.

Congrats to everyone at SQLTeam on the Microsoft Listing.

And I'm gonna be the first to agree with you 100%, Jeff! It's sad browsing some other DB sites, NONE of them are close to SQL Team! (have you looked at the other community sites MS listed? http://www.sqlteam.com/Forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=11184 )

I almost feel bad doing it, but it only affirms the main reasons I come back here: great people, great knowledge, and great spirit. And also great Yaks!

Thank you again, graz, for making this such an incredible place to learn about SQL Server!

What proportion of the Chinese yak population are members?.
Oh and congrats efelito.

http://www.ansi.okstate.edu/breeds/other/YAK/
There are approximately 12 million yaks in China which is about 85% of the world total making China the leader for Yaks.

Yaks are located mainly in the high, cold mountainous areas of China.

Yaks can graze on the alpine grasslands in the summer and during winter on the shrubs in deep snow in rigorous temperatures. The yak looses weight during the winter but recovers and gains weight rapidly with the coming of spring grass.

The yak's long coarse hair acts as insulation for their body. The animals also grow a dense woolen undercoat for winter protection.

Well, Jake, I guess you'll just have to search the Forums. All the secrets to and SQL are in there. In the meantime, just sit back, relax, and .

Cheers !
