hello all of you!
this is srinivas. i know there is a front end .net for sql server.
but can't there any body reply to this question!!!!

ok! my requirement is as follows.
"how to give input from keyboard to sql server2005"
yaa yaa this is simple in oracle,
when ever we give "&a" then oracle tells us
"Enter a value: " and wait up to we giving input.

but in sql server what is the procedure??????

some of our genius said "hey you should use front end..."
but i say " no no no i dont want to use any front end"
with only sql server 2005 can't you give answers....

if any body know please reply to

you cant directly input values to sql server 2005 like in oracle. Your friend is right. you need to do this at your front end. And just pass values as parameters to sql procedure created on db. the procedures will execute and retrieve the data as per parameters passed from db.
