Hi,
For Example:
I have a full backup from yesterday night, differential backup from today morning and transactional backup files for every 5 minutes. My question is if database crashes in the morning at 11 AM, I have to apply last full backup then last differential backup and then all transaction backup files taken after differential backup happened. Please advise if this is correct or not.
I am trying to gather this information just in case if I need, so I can act quickly. Do I need to take any other steps after recovering the database.

Thanks

Yes, Full Restore with NORecovery, last Differential with NORECOVERY,all T-Log except last one with NORECOVERY and last T-log with Recovery and you can use STOPAT option(specifying time) as well.
