| Hello everyone:) I've just installed sql server 2005 and i don't know how to find my log in or set one up. I've only used 2005 at uni and there we are given a log in. I asked my lecturer at uni to help me install the program but together we couldn't make any headway. I'm using vista. I've tried reading through the forums but i haven't come across anything to help with my problem, if a post concerning my problem exists i apologize.Looking forward to any feedback:)Skev. |

| You can go to Start --> Program Files --> SQl Server 2005 --> SQl Server Management Studio. This gives you Window to connect to SQL Server. You can enter SQl Server name here (. for default instance and servername\instancename for named instance) |
