 How many columns can have a table (MS SQL 2005)

Good evening to the community,

I am working in a program Design that require a 200 columns in a single table.

Its some restrictions of the amount of columns its something that can have some impact?

Yes you can hvae 200 columns in a single table.

The max no of column a table can have is 1024.
Why you wnat to go for having 200 columns in a single table?
If the design permits go for normalizing your design.
