For one production server CPU utilization reached 100%

I found that 2 images application.exe is taking CPU -100%

please let me know how to start

open the task manager and check for the services, which is taking more memory. close un wanted services. for example, your server is installed with oracle, and is not using, just stop the service. so that memory will become free. hitting 100% sometimes is not a problem. but if it is staying more than 10 sec, then it will become a problem. one sec or two sec is not a big problem.

1. Contact the vendor of the application that is consuming 100% CPU.
2. Move the application to a different server
3. This is a SQL Server site, without a ton of information about said application we can't really help.
