use sp_send_dbmail . have a look at books online for syntax and usage

Keep In Mind following things when u r sending mail from SQL server 2005..

1.Database Mail must be enabled.
2.Service Broker needs to be enabled in the Database Mail host database.
3.The Database Mail external executable(DatabaseMail90.exe) needs access to the SMTP server.
