HiI am trying to export reports from my SQL2005 report manager. If the report is bigger than about 40 pages, it will not export or open in Excel. It brings up the save or open box and then just dissapears when you click open or save. I can still export if I run on the server directly, but no clients can export reports bigger than that. Please help with any suggestions. Thanks |

i think that because the size of data exceeds the maximum available size for excel sheet. |

Why dont you try exporting it to multiple sheets by putting page break after each table. |

But it works on the server. I go to http://localhost/reports on the server and it exports any report to excel. From my own computer it give me the open/save screen and then does nothing. I find no error in event log either.... |

I found the problem. Bitdefender business client was stopping the export. Uninstalled anti-virus and tested - working. I will play with AV setting and resolve, thanks for help. |
