| Hello,I will like to know about the inner workings of SP and functions.IF i have a SP that thats 1 hour to execute and another application fires the same SP, will the 2nd and other applications have to wait for the resource to be released before it fires ?Thanks |

In terms of locking, yes. The probability that the two running instances will block each other is high when a normal operation takes one hour.But it depends on what the SP is doing.If an SP takes one hour two complete, I would look for a way to optimize the SP first. E 12°55'05.63"N 56°04'39.26" |
