| Hi allI have a problem at some server in one of our client. The database they use for some app is freezin. I checked the database log file..is was getting full so i backed up the DB then shrink the file then there was enough space, now they still having problems,some user just told me when he try to save it just freeze and give a blank screen. Does any please can tell me what i should check or not. PLease help me,coz i did run some reports on a disk space and memory consumption. Its SQL 2005 Db. |

| is the problem with getting log full again? if yes, are you doing some really big transactions at backend? Using queries with large number of temporary tables? ALso whats the current recovery mode? |

| no the Log still have enough space! and the recovery mode is "Full" |

You can change it to simple if you dont want full logging. this will save some space for log files.Can you turn on profiler and see what are queries running on background. You could also run sp_who2 and check if any blocking occurs |
