| Dear All,is there any maintenance activity for replication to make it 100% sync? any weekly or monthly maintenance? please let me know...I've observed that my replication is getting stopped on intervals like every two months....there are several things for those failures. (one reason is the repldata folder sharing is failed...i don't know the exact reason how that was happened). please let me know are there any maintenance activities.....thanks in advanceArnavEven you learn 1%, Learn it with 100% confidence. |

Why Merge replication has to do with this? sunsanvin,One thing I have noticed with Snapshot folder is that you shouldn't give all permission to everyone .Restrict the snapshot folder. We have MOM tool to watch Replication and mail to DBA. You can use Notification in Replication jobs to notify DBA if it fails. |
