Does this site use VBulletin? My buddy wants to start a forum and I had no idea what software to recommend.

No, it uses Snitz. See the logo at the bottom of each page.

I'd recommend vBulletin.

Snitz is coded in classic asp. VBulletin is php. Make sure you use code that your server supports.

VBulletin isn't free, but it's worth the price if your forums are busy. Other popular php forums (free) are phpbb3 and SMF, and there are tons of other forum apps available for download. Visit or to see much of what's available.
