| Hi,My name is Argiris and I have the following problem. One of our customer has an HP DL180 G5 Server with 4GB RAM. They have installed SBS 2003 Premium with DC + AD + Exchange + SQL 2005 on this machine and they want their SQL Server to see more that 2GB RAM. Is that possible and how? I tried through enabling AWE but the upper limit was still 2GB! From what I know SBS 2003 Premium can see only 3GB RAM. Is it possible that there is no way for SQL to use more memory, in order for the OS + Exchange to use the 1GB that remains? Is there any official article that mentions this in order to show it to them?I would like to add that this machine has another 5GB RAM that the OS cannot see. Is there any possible way to use them as well? I was told that this is exactly was AWE does, is that true? Thanks in advance,Argiris |
