| Hi, I have a table that stores text in a nvarchar column. When I insert japanese data, it goes in as "<p>#12531; #12362;#12424;#12403; #22269;#21029;#12522;#12473;#12463;#20104;#22577;</p>"And displays properly in the page since its utf-8 format, now I want to use this data in sql server. Is it possible to apply some kind of trick to display the correct text within a transaction (no webpage display needed). E.g change locale settings to retrieve the data or something like that?Just spotted that the japanese is displaying properly in the ticket. Whereas the text that goes in the table is something like <p> '&-#-1-2-5-3-1-;' '&-#-1-2-3--6-2-;' '-&-#-1-2--4-2-4-;' '-&-#-1-2--4-0-3-; ' (without the ' and -). Why would'nt this go in the nvarchar column as japanese? Thanks |
