i am trying to switch data between 2 tables and i get : quote:
Partition maintenenace failed with error 7733 at line 106: 'ALTER TABLE SWITCH' statement failed. The table 'Reports.dbo.TargetTable2' is partitioned while index 'IX_TargetTable1_RecipientSender' is not partitioned.

| i will explain my problem:i have a paratiotioned primary key, but the index i added after it isn't part paratiotioned as you can see on the error above.i didn't understand execlly from the article - must i added the index as a paratiotioned one or should i do something else?thankspelegIsrael -the best place to live in aftr heaven 9but no one wan't to go there so fast -:) |
