Hi Pals,

I am new to sql server. Am from Oracle Background.

Recently i got a chance to work on SQL Server 2005 Adminstration.

Can anyone suggest few links for Disaster Recovery Scenario's (Real Time Scenarios') and how to recover databases whenever disaster occurs.

For Example : 1)master database is corrupted what needs to be done.
2)Perform Point in Time Recovery and so on.

Thanks in advance.

1. You could try rebuilding master, restoring it, reinstalling SQL Server...
2. Apply a full backup using restore database and then the entire transaction log chain up to and including the point in time using restore log.
