Hi Everybody,

I am new to sql server 2000. I am getting the following the error in the event viewer in my production database.

Timeout (30000 milli seconds) waiting for a transaction response from symantec Antivirus servive

Also
my client side dba has sent the following mail

Lock timeouts are very high - 1164 (Critical threshold is 1000)

please anybody can share u r ideas .

OS: WINDOWS SERVER 2003
SQLSERVER 2000

Seems to be a bug in Antivirus
