Hi all I have job running on a daily basis
UPDATE STATISTICS it starts every day at 10am is that a good time. the full backup is weekly
diff is 4 times a week at 11am


just wondering if statistics done every day is ok

Do you have weekly job to update stats or Index Maintenance? Also I use sp_updatestats which only updates required one.

How about a Integrity check every day? For recovery reasons

Isn't 10am and 11am during your busy time of the day? These types of things should be done during the slow periods, which on most systems is late at night or very early in the morning.
