| If you don't specify anything, the default folder for the data files go into c:\Program Files\..\..\mssql\data\. Which may not be the best place for data files.Which/what folder structure do you put your data files under? |

And for this setup, it's ideal that they are separate PHYSICAL drives, not simply partitions of one physical. It's all about performance!Terry-- Procrastinate now! |
