we have upgraded sql 2005 to sql 2008
its compatiblity level is 90
i want to remove digits from the noise word list, but after removing the it messgs still shows the digits as the noise words,
i am not sure wether after upgrading to sql 2008 the stop list will come in effect or the noise word list, noise word list shows no impact even after changing.so should i increase the compatiblity level of database to 100 and alter the stop list or any other way could work

what the compatiblity levl does?
