| I have a table that values get inserted from several website... It currently has an index on the date field and source code, (from website). My question is, "Is there a special index used on real-time data?". If so, can you explaine or point me to website that does?Using SQL2005 and SQL2005...Robert R. Barnes |

| the choice of index depends on what queries would be fired against the table more frequently and columns they target upon for searching. please note that simply making an index on table doesnt guarantee it will be used. |
