| hi all, good afternoon,i got a small doubt about .mdf file as i want to attach it in 2005 i got an error saying that this file is been used by some other db.but 1 of my databases is been corrupted so i got the only chance is to attach the .mdf file so can any one help me in this regards..the error code is error:5123thanks in advance |

| Right click on the available database, select Tasks - Restore - FileGroups - Now choose ur options and obtain the file (.mdf) by celecting the radio buton option From Device. Do the same with the .ldf also. ... hope this solves the problem else feel free to akstks |
