Hi everyone,
In "Services Area Configuration for Services" I select "Database Engine" and "Service" ."MSSQLSERVER" "Service status" is on "stopped". I click the "start" button and get an error message that says: "An error occured while performing this operation". This is a "Developer edition" . Either the server is loaded or not I keep on getting that message.
Any idea what is the reason for that error ?
thanks

I selected the other server instace (myServer rather then MSSQLSERVER) and it works fine there. I think this problem is solved. Thanks.
